The terms that apply when you engage Rays Haulage for transport, logistics, or vehicle repair services.

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Rays Haulage Pty Ltd (ABN 45 070 137 414), Rays Logistics (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 65 142 101 559), and Rays Truck Repairs Pty Ltd (ABN 84 617 315 723) — collectively referred to as "Rays Haulage", "we", "us", or "our".
By requesting a quote, making a booking, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. These terms apply to all transport, haulage, warehousing, 3PL, and vehicle repair services we provide.
All quotes provided by Rays Haulage are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to revise pricing if:
GST is applicable to all services and will be itemised on invoices.
Bookings are confirmed upon written or verbal acceptance of a quote. Cancellations must be notified as early as possible. Where a job is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice and resources have been allocated, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted job value.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that goods are adequately packaged for transport. Rays Haulage takes reasonable care in handling all freight, however we are not liable for loss or damage arising from:
Customers are encouraged to maintain appropriate transit insurance for high-value or fragile goods. Rays Haulage holds public liability and goods-in-transit insurance; details available on request.
Goods stored at our Glendenning facility are held at the customer's risk. Rays Haulage takes reasonable precautions for the security and condition of stored goods, but is not liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our reasonable control. Storage agreements, rates, and minimum terms will be agreed in writing prior to commencement.
All repair work is carried out by qualified technicians. A written authorisation is required before any repair work begins. Where the final cost is likely to exceed the authorised amount, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.
Vehicles are held at the customer's risk while on our premises. Rays Truck Repairs Pty Ltd holds appropriate workshop liability insurance. Completed vehicles must be collected within 5 business days of notification; storage fees may apply thereafter.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are due within 14 days of the date of issue. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 2% per month. For new customers or large jobs, we may require a deposit prior to commencement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rays Haulage's liability to any customer is limited to the value of the services provided under the relevant job or booking. We exclude all liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
All transport services are conducted in compliance with the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and applicable NSW road transport regulations. Customers must not request loads that exceed legal mass or dimension limits. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a job where compliance cannot be assured.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
