Who We Are

A Family Business Built on Reliability

Founded in the early 1990s by Ray and Roslyn, Rays Haulage began as a small operation serving a single client from the family residence in Glendenning. Three decades later, it has grown into Western Sydney's most trusted name in heavy haulage, third-party logistics, and heavy vehicle repairs.

What hasn't changed is the founding philosophy: service excellence above all else. Every job, from a single crane truck delivery to managing a client's full warehousing and distribution operation, is handled with the same care and precision that built our reputation over 30 years.

Today, Rays operates three integrated service divisions with a tight family team and a purpose-built heavy fleet, all based at our Glendenning, NSW facility.

Our Legacy

30 Years of Growth

Early 1990s — Founded
Ray & Roslyn Start Rays Haulage
Beginning with a small custom-fitted fleet and a single foundation client, Ray and Roslyn built the foundations of what would become Western Sydney's most trusted haulage business, operating from their family home in Glendenning.
1998 — Fleet Expansion
Scaling to Serve Heavy Industry
Steady client growth drove fleet expansion — including semi-trailers — as Rays began serving clients across the steel and construction industries.
2003 — Innovation
Custom Truck Modification — An Industry First
Rays pioneered a unique truck modification technique, extending cargo decks on standard vehicles to handle oversize freight. At the time, no competitor offered this capability, giving Rays a distinctive edge in heavy freight delivery.
2010 — New Home
Belfast Place, Glendenning
Rays acquired and moved to 5–7 Belfast Place, Glendenning — a dedicated yard and operational base that gave the business room to grow its fleet, staff, and service capability.
2017 — Expansion
Purpose-Built Facility Opens
A modern multifunctional building, warehouse, and mechanical workshop was constructed at 7 Belfast Place, centralising all operations in a purpose-built facility and launching Rays Truck Repairs Pty Ltd as a standalone service division.
2018 — Full Operation
Two Divisions Running in Parallel
Rays Haulage and Rays Logistics now operate as leading crane-truck and logistics specialists in Western Sydney, with dedicated fleets across both divisions.
Now — The Future
The Next Facility
Rays is investing in expanded facilities with increased warehouse capacity, additional workshop bays, and the infrastructure to grow its 3PL operations significantly over the next five years.

Ray

Director & Co-Founder / Lead Mechanic

Ray co-founded Rays in the early 1990s and still leads the workshop floor. As the company's most experienced heavy vehicle mechanic and driver, he's the reason Rays can maintain its own fleet in-house and field a crew who know how trucks actually work.

Roslyn

Director & Co-Founder

Roslyn co-founded Rays alongside Ray and runs the business side of the company — finances, insurances, payroll, contracts, and strategic direction. Her hand on the administrative wheel has kept Rays stable through three decades of growth.

Zahida

Warehouse Operations Manager

Zahida runs Rays' warehouse operations — inbound receiving, storage, pick-and-pack, and dispatch coordination for 3PL clients. Her organisation is what keeps pallets moving predictably through the Glendenning facility.

Zahid

Mechanic & Driver

Zahid works alongside his father Ray in the workshop and also takes the wheel on the road. He's a qualified mechanic and licensed driver, building experience under Ray's mentorship.

Rays' primary operational hub at 5–7 Belfast Place, Glendenning is purpose-built for heavy logistics. Situated directly off the main road, the site offers excellent access for large vehicles and features everything needed for end-to-end haulage and logistics operations.
