We're a family-owned business with 30 years of history and ambitious plans for growth. If you're experienced, reliable, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.
Rays is more than a job. We're a family business that invests in its people for the long term.
Rays has been family-run since the early 1990s. We treat our team like family — long-standing relationships, loyalty, and genuine care for the people who make Rays work.
We're expanding, with a new facility, new services, new clients. That means real opportunities to grow your role, take on more responsibility, and build a long-term career with us.
WH&S is central to how we operate. We invest in training, certifications, and equipment to ensure every team member goes home safe every day.
You'll work with quality vehicles and equipment, maintained to a high standard in our own Glendenning workshop. No excuses, no cutting corners.
All roles are based at our Glendenning facility, right in the heart of Western Sydney's industrial and logistics hub. Easy access, local community.
We support ongoing training and licensing for our team, including heavy vehicle licence progression, high-risk work licences, forklift capability, and broader industry development.
Different roles call for different licences, tickets, and site-readiness. We look for the right capability for the job, not a one-size-fits-all checklist.
Rigid, 3/4 cabin, combination, and specialist freight roles may call for different heavy vehicle licence classes depending on the work.
Crane and access-sensitive delivery roles benefit from the practical tickets needed to work safely on controlled sites.
Storage, dispatch, and fulfilment roles are strongest with safe forklift capability and hands-on warehouse experience.
Some work benefits from dangerous goods capability, traffic control awareness, and a strong WHS and first aid mindset.
Every role at Rays comes with the same baseline expectations around safety, conduct, and fit-for-work standards. Here's what that looks like in practice.
Every new team member completes a site and role-specific safety induction before starting on the floor or on the road.
Ongoing WHS training, first aid awareness, and toolbox talks keep everyone current on how we work safely day-to-day.
Pre-employment, random, and for-cause drug & alcohol testing are part of working at Rays. It protects you, your teammates, and the people we deliver to.
You're expected to keep your licences, tickets, and medicals current. Rays supports ongoing training and renewals where appropriate.
We're always looking for experienced, reliable people across our three service divisions. Even if your role isn't listed, send us your details.
Experienced heavy vehicle drivers for crane truck, semi-trailer, and rigid truck operations. Depending on the role, MR, HR, or HC may be relevant, with HC preferred for combination freight work.
Specialist crane truck operator for our custom-modified fleet. You'll be handling steel and construction freight deliveries across Sydney, with site-ready capability, crane experience, and dogging support highly valued.
Qualified heavy vehicle mechanic for our Glendenning workshop. You'll be maintaining and repairing our own fleet plus customer vehicles. HVAIS inspection experience is a strong advantage.
Warehouse operator for our Glendenning storage and logistics facility. Duties include goods receival, stock management, order picking and packing, and forklift operation. LF forklift capability is required.
At Rays, culture isn't just something we talk about, it's something we live every day. Hard work, mutual respect, and looking out for each other have been the foundations of this business since Ray and Roslyn started it from their family home in the early 1990s.
Our team includes drivers, mechanics, and warehouse operators who have been with us for many years. That's not a coincidence — it's the result of treating people right, investing in their development, and building a workplace where people want to stay.
Fill in your details and tell us about your experience. We'll be in touch within a few business days.
